Jaden has only ever been mildly interested in coloring but I decided that was maybe because the paper always moved around on him.
So, for Halloween I taped pictures of a few pumpkins down on his work table and let him go to town.
Of course, the fact that I gave him MARKERS instead of crayons probably made a big difference too!

Had to laugh at these pics. Hey, is the "push the sleeves up" and "get to work" a Kdt/Brand thing or a Hmr thing too? Or did the leaf get turned over in your family and it is now "push the sleeves up" and "enjoy" the fun! I like that thought :-).
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! If you use the blue painters tape to tape down the paper, it comes off of the paper really easily.
