Mariachi San Pablo – Tour St. Louis - Intro

Just to keep my life simple, I’m going to split the posts from this trip into different sections.

Here’s why.
1)      I don’t want you (my faithful readers) to be too bored.
2)      There are lots of things I want to talk about related to this trip and it just doesn’t work as one massive post.
So…
Here we go.

Introducing the new Mariachi San Pablo mascot “Pablo” (otherwise known as Donald Duck dressed Mexican).

I saw this in my garage in storage and thought it might be fun for the Mariachi group to have a mascot.  Kind of like a “Flat Stanley”  that you take pictures with different places that you go.  Of couse, Pablo’s not flat.  But, the group had fun with it.

We were going to submit Pablo’s expeditions under Guinness Book of World Records for the most pictures taken of a mascot on a single trip.  However, 1) you have to apply to compete for a record BEFORE you start (whoops) and 2) we don’t even know if Pablo really qualifies as a “mascot”.  But, hey, we had fun trying anyway.

I don’t have all the pictures of Pablo that were taken and feel they would probably be boring to you.  But, I figured I’d introduce you just so you’d know why there is a duck in a bunch of pictures from this trip!
